Proletaryat

Proletaryat is one of the most important bands on the Polish rock and punk scene, founded in 1987 in Częstochowa. The group gained popularity for its committed message and energetic sound, which combines elements of hard rock, punk and metal. The band’s lyrics often touch on social and political issues, criticizing injustices and describing the problems of ordinary people.

Proletaryat’s debut album was released in 1990 and quickly brought the band recognition with songs such as “Passing” and “Reincarnations.” Proletaryat is known for the charismatic vocals of its leader, Tomasz “Oley” Olejnik, and the powerful guitar riffs that form the basis of their musical style.

Over the years Proletaryat has released more than a dozen studio albums, maintaining consistency in their message and never losing musical intensity. The band remains active on the music scene, regularly touring and recording new material, a testament to their enduring appeal to fans and the important role they play on the Polish music market.
