Kaliber 44 - B90 exclusion

Kaliber 44

Kaliber 44 is a Polish hip-hop group formed in Katowice in 1994. The group gained immense popularity in the Polish hip-hop underground scene in the 90s and is considered one of the most important formations in the history of the Polish rap scene.

The lineup of Kaliber 44 originally consisted of three members: Abradaba (Piotr Łuszcz), Magik (Piotr Łuszcz), and Joka (Tomasz Krysiak). Their music was characterized by a distinctive style and lyrics addressing social, political, and personal themes.

The group’s debut album, titled “Księga Tajemnicza. Prolog,” was released in 1996 and achieved tremendous success, becoming one of the most iconic albums in the history of Polish hip-hop. Subsequent albums, such as “W 63 minuty dookoła świata” (1998) and “3:44” (2000), also received positive reception.

Unfortunately, the group disbanded in 2003, but its influence on the Polish hip-hop scene is still widely appreciated. In 2010, the group resumed activity and released the album “4.” Despite various personnel changes, Kaliber 44 remains one of the most influential groups in Polish hip-hop.
