Cool Kids Of Death - Klub koncertowy B90

Cool Kids Of Death

Cool Kids of Death is a band that clearly carves unconventional paths on the Polish music scene. Originating from a place once bustling with industrial and cinematic life, where traces of former glory mingle with street art, this group boldly ventures into directions unexplored by most bands. Their music, a mix of post-punk, indie rock, and alternative rock, echoes the sounds of bands like The Strokes, Magazine, Joy Division, and Bloc Party.

Cool Kids of Death have earned the title of the “rebellious voice of Polish twentysomethings,” becoming a symbol of youthful defiance and independence. After a hiatus, the band is making a strong comeback, announcing the release of a new album due this fall. The singles “Żart” and “Ciągle” have already given a taste of the new direction in their music.

Additionally, the premiere of the documentary “Twenty Years Later: C.K.O.D.3” is set for May during the Millennium Docs Against Gravity festival. Directed by Piotr Szczepański, the film delves into the band’s history, highlighting their impact on Polish musical culture and their enduring presence on the music scene.
