Future Palace is a German band that formed in late 2018. The band is known for its unique blend of post-hardcore and alternative rock with influences from 80s synth-pop and electronica. Founded by vocalist Maria Lessing, guitarist Manuel Kohlert, and drummer Johannes Frenzel, Future Palace quickly gained recognition for their emotional lyrics and energetic live performances. Their debut single “Maybe” was released on March 26, 2019, followed by “Anomaly” on May 31, 2019. In March 2020, the band signed with Arising Empire and released the single “Illusionist” featuring Tobias Rische of Alazka. Their debut album “Escape” was released on September 18, 2020. Their second album “Run” was released on June 10, 2022, debuting at number 82 on the official German Albums Charts. Future Palace’s lyrics touch on themes of personal struggles, depression, and toxic relationships, with their music being influenced by bands such as Bring Me the Horizon, Pvris, The Midnight, and Mike Oldfield. With dynamic live performances and growing popularity both in Germany and internationally, Future Palace continues to solidify its position in the post-hardcore and alternative rock scene.
