After a five-year hiatus since the release of the album “Niewiosna,” the band Blindead is back with new material and a revised lineup as Blindead 23. On tour to promote the new album “Vanishing,” the musicians will present both the latest songs and the iconic “Affliction” material, which they will perform in its entirety in celebration of its 15th anniversary. The group, known for its unique, exploratory approach to metal, offers a sound that draws listeners into a vortex of sounds and emotions.
The band’s lineup has been enriched with exceptional musicians – in addition to Mateusz and Patryk Zwolinski (vocals) and Pawel Jaroszewicz (drums), we will see Roger Öjersson (Katatonia), Maciej Janas (Ketha) and the producer of the “Vanishing” album, Kuba Mankowski, on stage.
Also performing at the concert will be:
- Obscure Sphinx, returning after years of silence with new strength after concerts at Summer Dying Loud and Metal Mine, continuing their style of doom and post-metal melancholy.
- Wij, which transports audiences to the dark world of “Przestworu” full of references to metal and ghosts of the past, and surprises with its unique combination of archaic and modern sound.
- Kryształ, a Warsaw-based quartet, which presents its single “Kwiaty zła” and announces its album “Poświaty” – a combination of metal with cold wave and shoegaze.
It’s a unique evening where contemporary metal meets darkness, emotion and exploration of tradition.
