Blindead 23 is a Polish follow-up band to Blindead, which was active from 2003 to 2022. The band was reactivated as Blindead 23 by Mateusz “Havoc” Smierzchalski (former member of Behemoth), with a new lineup and musical vision. The group’s current style oscillates around experimental, atmospheric metal, instead of the extremes of the genre. The lineup also includes musicians such as Roger Öjersson (Katatonia) and Pawel Jaroszewicz (ex-Vader, Vltimas), which gives Blindead 23 a deeper, diverse sound.
Blindead 23’s debut material, titled “Vanishing,” released in 2024, attracted fans with its searching, engaging style.
