SONIAMIKI graduated from the Faculty of Multimedia Communication at the University of Arts in Poznań. She composes her own songs and plays bass guitar. In November 2009 the Moanin record studio based in Berlin issued her debut solo album entitled "7pm". Soniamiki promoted her first album, playing concerts in Germany (Bielefeld, Leipzig, Berlin, Goerlitz and others). She also played at the Opener 2010 music festival. The video clip to her "Wiem Nie" song was shortlisted to the Budapest Crosstalk Videoart Festival in 2010.
In 2011 her "Night is so sage" single was promoted by means of an interactive video clip, most probably the first such project in Poland. While listening to the song you are assembling various monsters. After a successful completion of the task, you can download the song free of charge.
Soniamiki’s "Pizamka" was selected to the "Dzień Kobiet" ("Women’s Day") album along with such acknowledged Polish artists as: Kasia Nosowska, Maria Peszek, and Pati Yang.
In October 2012 a prestigious Qulturap record label in cooperation with Moanin (Berlin) issued "SNMK", her second album, and the first one in Poland. Soniamiki is also the author of the album’s cover, and the author and producer of her own video clips. The songs on "SNMK" have been written by Soniamiki herself. Sonia is the lead singer and plays bass. Łukasz Lach from L.Stadt stands behind the drums. Soniamiki promotes her album by means of concerts, press tours, and shows on the TV channels. Soniamiki promotes SNMK playing gigs all around the world. In 2013 was playing Męskie Granie -polish prestigious festival. Also in 2013 was the only polish band at Utopia Fest (US, Texas). Soniamiki is currently working on her third solo album.
